Sept 5,6, 7 - Hey Pelican people, don't miss the chance to enjoy a casual race at the Port Townsend WA. Wooden Boat Festival all on the same weekend! The Wooden Boat Festival is the biggest and best on the west coast, check out there website. The Wooden Boat Festival runs Sept. 5,6 and 7th. We have a race and pot luck in Port Hadlock, which is about 15 minutes from Port Townsend, on Sat. the 6th. The race starts at the School of Wooden Boat Building in Port Hadlock. Check out their website as well. After the race there's food, drink, live music and tall stories. There's great camping only minutes away. If you want a motel, make your reservations now, as the Wooden Boat Festival is historic Port Townsend's busiest weekend. We would especially love to see some out of state Pelicans! See you there!
